We are proud to announce that SETIC POURTIER has been named winner of the Ulysse prize 2025, a prestigious distinction awarded each year by the Association pour le Retournement des Entreprises (ARE). This prize rewards companies that have achieved an exemplary, sustainable and meaningful turnaround.
An industrial rebirth
Founded in 1948, SETIC POURTIER specialises in the design and manufacture of machinery for the wire and cable industry. After going through a complicated period following the restructuring of its former shareholder, the Italian group Sampsistemi, the company was able to bounce back thanks to a clear and ambitious strategy led by Thierry Collard, its CEO.
Since 2020, SETIC POURTIER has refocused its activities on high added-value segments, optimised its costs and industrial processes, relaunched its sales dynamic and, above all, doubled its workforce.
A collective recognition
The Ulysse prize not only rewards economic performance, but also human and industrial commitment. It recognizes a company’s ability to mobilize its teams, partners and local area around a solid, forward-looking recovery project.
The ceremony was held on March 17, 2025 at the Automobile Club de France, under the patronage of Marc Ferracci, Minister for Industry and Energy. This award is the crowning achievement of an entire team, committed on a daily basis to promoting French industrial know-how.
