A historic day for SETIC & POURTIER. On August 28, 2024, our company had the honor of welcoming Marc Ferracci, Minister delegate for Industry and Energy, to our Roanne production site. This ministerial visit marks a major milestone in the recognition of our industrial expertise and our contribution to French energy sovereignty.

This visit follows the Prix Ulysse 2025 we received last March, rewarding the company that achieved the best turnaround of the year. When presenting this award, the Minister committed to visiting our emblematic Roanne company. Promise kept.
Our recent history perfectly illustrates the resilience capacity of French industry: after the difficulties experienced in 2020, our acquisition by the Arcole fund in 2024 enabled a spectacular recovery. We were able to reinvent ourselves, maintain a clear strategic direction, and redirect our activity toward cutting-edge markets.

After a republican welcome by the elected officials, the Minister was welcomed by Thierry Collard, President of SETIC & POURTIER, for an in-depth technical visit of our facilities.
The visit began with a general presentation of our products and activity, before continuing in our workshops where the Minister was able to discover our flagship equipment, notably our Large Double Twist 2600 mm machine, the jewel of our technology.
